24-hour Web Open Source (webOS) Programming Marathon

The aim is to demonstrate the programming and IT skills of Armenian IT professionals to the world.

The objectives of the marathon is to discover Armenian young IT talents, new ideas and specialists, help to form businesses in open source technologies, provide them modern knowledge as well as promote open source programming in Armenia.
The marathon which will take place on 14th October 2006. All the participants are invited to register on-line. All you need is a good internet connection to work from any so that you can connect from any place. The assignment will be sent out to all participants at once and you will have 24 hours for its accomplishing. The judge team will assess the developed solutions and the time needed for finishing the task.
To participate WebOS2006 programming marathon you need to know frontend Ajax, Java Applet, Flash or Javascript/HTML and backend Java or PHP.
