The rules and regulations of WebOS2006 Marathon

To participate the on-line marathon, you should have internet connected to your computer.

Eligibility

Groups of individuals up to 3 (three) people may register and compete WebOS2006 registration.  Registration deadline is 12 October 00:00am.

Registration
1. Registration is closed.

 2. To finalize the registration you will receive mail validation.  After the validation disc space and database will be created, and you can login the framework. The registration will be confirmed several days before the marathon.

3. Closer to the marathon date you can login into the framework and learn about the environment you will work. It is web environment that provides windows (simulates operation system) where your applications will run.

4. Your applications must be written using frontend javascript/HTML, Ajax or Flash technologies and backend Java/JSP or PHP.

5. For uploading widget (application) you need to create an archive from your application

6. During the marathon you can see only your widget (application) in the framework. 

7. Source code of your widget (application) should be included and it will be publicly available and will be under Open Source license.

 IT IS PROHIBITED TO ACCESS FILES AND WIDGETS OF OTHER PARTICIPANTS.  THE VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT DISQUALIFICATION OF THE PARTICIPANT AND BANNING HIS/HER FURTHER PARTICIPATION TO THE MARATHON.
